Captain Jeff Fraser was born on the Island of Cape Cod, MA, where he learned to fish with his grandfather, father and brothers on Buzzards Bay and Vineyard Sound.

      In 1980, Captain Jeff married his high school sweetheart, Nan and soon after, Captain Jeff traded in his hockey skates for a fishing rod and headed for South Florida to pursue Jeff's dream of becoming a Charterboat Captain. They settled in The Sport Fishing Capital of the World, Islamorada, Florida Keys and have called the Keys home ever since. Captain Jeff learned the ropes from legendary Captain Curt Duel and upon his retirement, Captain Jeff is now the proud owner of the Charterboat Genesis.

      The Genesis is a 43' Norseman sportfisherman and offers a very stable and spacious fishing platform. A wide range of trips are available to you aboard the Genesis including Half day and Full Day trips and also Sunset and Evening trips for Shark and Tarpon are available.

      Families and anglers of all ages are welcome aboard the Genesis. We provide tackle, bait, ice, A large cooler with plenty of ice and we can accommodate up to six anglers. All fish that are not released, will be cleaned and packaged for you free of charge. Most any of our fine local restaurants will be happy to cook your catch for you.
