Florida Keys Fishing Report
We're lucky to to have a year-round fishery that always has plenty of action and warm sunshine!
Fishing offshore of Islamorada this week has been excellent. The Sailfishing action is on-fire! Conditions are forecast to continue to great for the sails. Baitfish are plentiful from the edge of the reef, as well as on the patch-reefs. They're creating a feeding frenzy for all species of fish, including the sailfish.
The King Mackerel fishing has been outstanding as of late. Fish in the 10-40 lb range were caught on our boats this past week.
Farther offshore there has been good mixed-bag action around the Islamorada Hump and deep water wrecks. Greater Amberjacks are spawning and very aggressive, with catches in the 30-85 lb range.
As expected, the Yellowtail bite is strong on the inshore reef, along with the Lane and Mangrove Snapper.
With all the great fishing action so close to shore this time of year, it's a great time to get out on the water... So call and lets go fishing!
Tight Lines.
